ABC Wednesday again from Alaska--L is for...

L is for Luxury

Being travelers more accustomed to finding an eight foot trailer with the kitchen on the outside or a room at a Super 8 to be the peak of luxury, we found our accomodations on our Alaska cruisetour to be quite luxurious.

It started when the boarding agent at Gate 23 in Seattle saw the four of us talking and waiting together for boarding and asked us if we would mind being moved to First Class.

Well, what would you say?

"Nah, we'll stay back in the back where we can be squished into the seats between our neighbors for three hours and have to pay for lunch."

NOT!

My Free Lunch                   .

Our tour group had our own dome car on the train ride from Fairbanks to Denali, our own bartender, and our own tour guide.
For the tour portion of our trip we stayed primarily at Princess Lodges. Other than the fact that it made us more or less prisoners of Princess, that was generally delightful.

And everywhere, the flowers in flowerbeds and hanging baskets were LUXURIOUS!
What did others find for the Letter L. You can find out here.
