A week ago it looked like this at Solvang. The snow was still about 10cm deep and we stayed only for photo shooting.
This morning at the same area. No more snow and the spring lawn ready for the grass rake.
The leaves from last autumn had done their job as protection against the frost, and had already dried up so much that it was easy to fill 5 black garbage bags of withered brown leftovers.
The rhubarbs was waving with the newly born orange leave asking us to remove the dandelion from the bed.
The raspberries ranks are almost as upright as the royal gard. Spring is arriving at Solvang.
