Development in 45 years, then and now

Sometimes I wonder if times are changing faster now than before, or if people became older in a shorter time half a century ago compared to our times.
Times are running more or less in the same intervals (or the SI base unit) = seconds

The official SI definition of the second is as follows:

The second is the duration of 9,192,631,770 periods of the radiation corresponding to the transition between the two hyperfine levels of the ground state of the caesium 133 atom.

Just for your information.

When looking at images of myself taken with an interval of 45 Julian years (aprox. 1 420 092 000 seconds) I certainly see the diference,but are the changes like those you may see on my grandparents photo from 1920 (top) to 1965 (below) different when we talk about age-changing. Do they look younger or older after 45 years compared to me.
Was life harder then, do we keep up with camouflaging the age process better or worse today, is outfits, fashion or make-ups part of how we think of age-changing, is time-squeezing an old or modern process, etc. Or it it only how we see ourselves compared to others and others see us.

I don´t know, but it gave me an opportunity to make a blogpost presenting some old photos of my mother´s parents, and that was the main objective.
